Is this assisted living or a care facility?
No. Solara Pathways provides structured, non-medical shared housing for independent adults. We do not provide medical care, nursing services, or personal care.
What's included in the rent?
Every residence includes a fully furnished room, all utilities, high-speed Wi-Fi, use of the shared kitchen and common areas, laundry access, and professional management of the home.
How much is rent?
Rent starts at $800 per month, utilities included. There are no hidden fees — pricing is published and the same for every applicant.
Who qualifies to live at Solara Pathways?
Independent adults with verifiable income — employment, SSI/SSDI, VA benefits, or verified program support — who agree to our community guidelines, treat housemates with respect, and maintain a clean, drug-free living space.
Are the homes gender-specific?
Yes. Each residence is gender-specific to provide a comfortable and respectful environment for all residents.
Is there a lease or agreement?
Yes. Every resident signs a clear residency agreement that covers rent, house guidelines, and expectations before moving in, so everyone starts on the same page.
Are the homes drug-free?
Yes. All Solara Pathways residences are drug-free homes. This standard protects the safety and comfort of every resident and is a condition of residency.
How do case managers and organizations refer a client?
Use the Refer a Client form on this site — it takes about three minutes. We respond to all partner referrals within 1 business day, and a printable referral packet is available on our Partners page.
How fast can someone move in?
Once an application is approved and income is verified, move-in can often happen within days, depending on room availability. Referrals marked immediate are prioritized.
What do I need to apply?
A photo ID and proof of income (pay stubs, benefits letter, or program verification). The online application takes about five minutes.
What areas do you serve?
We serve the east Metro Atlanta area, including Stone Mountain, Decatur, Lithonia, Tucker, and Clarkston, along with surrounding Metro Atlanta communities.
